How to use "Add Item to Sheet"

Add Item: Adding a Single Data Entry

The Add Item action allows you to add a single entry to a specific sheet in your Google Sheets. This is particularly useful when you need to update or insert one piece of data at a time.

When to Use "Add Item"
  • When you have a single data point (e.g., one product, one user, one transaction) to add to your sheet (1)

  • For cases where you’re working with dynamic data and want to add one entry at a time, such as the result of a calculation or user input - in such cases "add item" needs to be combined with an iteration to repeatedly add an information to your sheet

How to Use "Add Item"
  1. Select the Sheet: Choose the specific Google Sheet where the data should be added.

  2. Map Your Data: Map the data you want to import to the relevant fields in your Google Sheet. For example, map fields like Product Name, Price, or Date.

  3. Run the Action: Once the data is mapped, run the flow to add the item to the designated sheet
