How can I send messages to a private Slack channel?

To send messages to a private channel you need to set-up an incoming webhook. To do so you need to install the incoming webhook first, use this link to navigate to the install section: here.

Once installede, choose the slack channel you want to send your message to and click on "add inbound webhook integration".
